The PLD is a unique digital leak locator built on the Apple mobile device platform. It comes with the leak sensor and handle, Apple iPod Touch with case, quality over-ear headphones, 12v and 120v chargers, ground probe, and waterproof carry case. The app communicates wirelessly with the leak sensor eliminating wires. The software has digital filters for direct connection to hydrants, valves, or services; ground listening above the pipe, and for optimizing leak listening on PVC and other plastic pipe and tubing.
